Well, second children never get doted on like their older sibling! Patrick turned one a week ago and I"m just now posting pictures! We had a little party at a beach near us. He didn't like the sand much because it didn't taste good and he couldn't walk in it. He loved the cupcakes with melting icing, though! Landon helped blow out the candle - of course. Landon also opened the gift and didn't let Patrick play with it for at least 3 days!
These next to pictures are ones that Landon asked me to take of him. He wanted a picture of 'his' ipod - it's really Scott's, but he put a Mickey Mouse video on it for Landon to watch.
And the last picture is a picture of me standing next to, yes, you guessed, a stack of pots! Scott and I went to this store that's a lot like Sams. Although, I've never seen pots this big at Sams! I don't even know how many people that much food could feed!!
The other day, Scott gave Landon an old basketball. You would have thought he'd just gotten a whole bag of candy! Thankfully, he didn't ask to sleep with it!
We went down to the grassy area of our apartment today. The kids had fun, especially Landon. Patrick is still getting used to the grass and doesn't walk well enough for me to let him go on his own.
Patrick is learning lots these days. We've taught him how to put the ball down the shoot on the little musical table, he's figuring out how new toys work, and getting to be a much better walker. It's so fun watching him learn all these new things!
Scott went camping this weekend with some friends. Here's a video of their breakfast - menemen. It's eggs, something that resembles sausage, and tomatoes.
