That said, we had a great time visiting family and friends. We all adjusted quickly to the time change. Scott parents picked us up from the airport on Monday night (thanks Stan and Natalie and thanks Warren and Jennifer for meeting us there!) The first Wednesday we were there, we went to Scott's grandparent's church. They we soooo gracious to us. Scott spoke first to the adults and then to the kids and youth. Everyone was so attentive and the kids asked GREAT questions! They even threw us a surprise baby shower! I have never seen so many baby clothes in one place!!

We had fun at Stan and Natalie's hanging out with Warren and Jennifer and others who came to visit us. Scott and Stan went fishing, but didn't have much luck. Scott just enjoyed getting out in the lake and the boat!! Then we went to Ruston for a couple of days and on to Minden and Marshall. Scott spoke at our church (Antioch) on Sunday morning and our pastor friend's church on Sunday night.

Tech fans, here you go...we took a little Tech tour in between Landon's naps. Jennifer was a great tour guide! It was so nice to look around and think about how great it feels to NOT be in school anymore!!

We headed back to Pineville for the weekend. Scott got to do some hunting, but unfortunately, had no luck even seeing a deer. Scott spoke at Philadelphia BC on Sunday. We went to their Christmas Cantata on Sunday night. It was wonderful! Natalie had a surprise birthday party for Stan while we were there (he turned 50 on the first of January)

Then we went back to BR. Landon had a chance to visit "the farm" where my dad raises cattle. We have jillions of pictures of him riding various tractors, so I only included this one of him on the buldozer.

That's it for now! In the next couple of days I'll post Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the rest of the trip. Scott and I want everyone to know how blessed we are to have such wonderful families and friends. We loved seeing so many of you! Thank you for your continued prayers!
