We've moved!

We finally made our move to Izmir, Turkey! We've been here about two weeks now. I think it was the hottest part of the summer and we only had one AC working! Moving to the seventh floor is somewhat of a task when they don't like you to use the elevators. The movers use something that looks like a fire truck to get everything up to a balcony of the apartment. Here are a few pics of that.

We went to the beach yesterday with some friends. Turks really know how to picnic - it's not just sandwiches and chips! They had a grill, kebabs, salad, macaroni salad, chips, dessert, drinks, everything! We didn't have any, but some people even bring their tea pots to have tea at the beach!!

Landon has been making a train out of his toy boxes. Patrick loves to just sit in the box! Landon takes them to the zoo with all of their stuffed animals!

Patrick is one now...and a few other pictures

Well, second children never get doted on like their older sibling! Patrick turned one a week ago and I"m just now posting pictures! We had a little party at a beach near us. He didn't like the sand much because it didn't taste good and he couldn't walk in it. He loved the cupcakes with melting icing, though! Landon helped blow out the candle - of course. Landon also opened the gift and didn't let Patrick play with it for at least 3 days!

I have no idea what this face is!!

Scott bought a new tent for camping and thought it would be fun for Landon if we set it up in the den. I didn't realize it was quite this big!

And the last picture is a picture of me standing next to, yes, you guessed, a stack of pots! Scott and I went to this store that's a lot like Sams. Although, I've never seen pots this big at Sams! I don't even know how many people that much food could feed!!
