I know it's been even more than a month this time! We're continuing to have computer issues and have finally found a way to make dropshots and the blog cooperate! We are doing well and enjoying the Christmas season. Landon is growing like a weed and getting more independent each day. He learned to drink from a cup yesterday! Finally!! He used to just pour it all over himself. I've put a few Christmas pictures and 2 videos. In the first video Landon is just checking out our new shoe storage. He loves sitting on it and hanging his feet over.

WOW!!

So I know that it has been FOREVER since I've posted anything! I apologize, but would like to say that for over 3 weeks I was without a computer. Ours just didn't turn on one morning. We sent it to the repair place in Istanbul who said they would order the part and fix it. One week later Scott called them to check on the progress and they said they had sent it back to us without fixing it. Because we still hadn't gotten the computer a few days later, Scott called and they said they didn't know anything about it!! Finally, after lots of arguing, they told us that they had sent it to Ali Somebody!! AND...they didn't know his address!! Well, a week later it showed up at Scott's office and it worked! We don't know what happened. Nothing was lost and the computer still works. Praise God!! So, I've been catching up on email, etc.

Now my problem is that I can't access my videos from dropshots STILL!! I'll leave you with some snapshots.

Videos again!!

Well, I can access our videos from another computer. So here are some recent pictures and videos.
Landon is learning to use a fork and spoon. He does great with the fork, but has a little difficulty with the spoon. Yogurt is especially messy!

Landon is very interested in shoes lately. He loves to put ours on and walk around. Today I bought him a pair of slippers for himself. He's still getting used to them.

Landon still loves anything to do with cleaning. Yesterday he 'cleaned' for half an hour! He doesn't do anything for that long, except sleep! It doesn't even take him that long to eat! Today he was putting his blanket in the washing machine. He was also being pretty talkative. On the video he is saying his grandparents' names and a few other things.

Still having problems

okay, I'm still having problems with getting videos on the blog. Until it gets fixed, you can view videos from Dropshots. Just click on a picture and it will take you to our Dropshots account. From there you can look at the videos. The videos have a little 'play' arrow in the corner.

A whole month!!

Over a month has passed since I last blogged!! I've been hoping to get the problem with dropshots fixed, but I haven't yet. Sometimes I can get my videos to upload and sometimes I can't. I can never get them to post to the blog (I don't have the option to post them to the blog). Anyway, lots has happened in the last month, so I'll just share our pictures with you:)

Landon loves it when Fatma (our house cleaner - I don't know the politically correct phrase) comes to clean. He "helps" her. She thinks it is great and I get a few minutes to check email. In the first picture he is vacuuming. In the second he's helping wipe the doors. The last is Landon sweeping by himself.

We went to a conference a few weeks ago. These are pictures from the hotel room. Landon loved playing in the closet. Apparently he's not afraid of the dark. He would go in and close the door on himself and wait until someone "found" him.
On the way to and from the conference we ate at the really fun McDonalds over the interstate. Landon kept looking under the highchair to see where the cars were going.

Landon's swimsuit for next year. I know you're wondering why we have it now...we'll be going to a conference in January and we'll be able to swim, so my mom found this one on sale! Doesn't he look so muscular!?
