We found the pool!!

We have finally discovered the ONLY pool in our city! It's on the top floor of the nicest hotel. It costs about $3 per person to use the pool all day. We had some friends visit from Istanbul, so we took the kids to the pool. Landon really enjoyed the water this time. I think he's finally getting used to it. He kicked around the whole time. He wasn't too happy being on his back, but loved it on his tummy. He looked like a little frog kicking with both legs at the same time!

The Johnny Jump Up is up!

Well, it's taken a few weeks, but we've finally got it up! Scott had to put a bar in a doorway so Landon's Johnny Jump Up would work. We don't have any doorways that it will attach to on it's own. Here are a few pictures and a video of Landon trying it out. You'll see that he hasn't quite got the hang of it yet:) Also, I've added some cute pictures we took today.

Landon's First Bites

Well, Landon started rice cereal today. He has been watching intently when we eat, so we thought it might be time to let him try something from a spoon. He seemed to be okay with the taste and didn't do a bad job of keeping most of the cereal in his mouth. I have to comment on the taste of rice cereal...it's absolutely disgusting!! It's amazing how well he ate it! Here's some video...

Couch Time

Landon is learning to sit on the couch by himself. I think he's been watching Scott because the first thing he sees is the remote control - you know how boys love to be in control of the remote! He's facinated with it.

We had a great time with the Johnsons!
